Manila is an RCI licensed clinical psychologist with over 5 years of work experience in formulating a treatment plan, psychotherapy and psychological assessments. She completed her M.Phil in Clinical Psychology from Kasturba Medical College, Manipal and went on to work at the National Institute of Mental health and Neurosciences (NIMHANS). Therapy may both be utilized to grow beyond the temporary or on-going stresses of mental illness and can also be used to work from a preventive approach for everyday stressors. Manila has experience in working with children, adolescents and adults and families. She is experienced in providing psychological assessments (intelligence, psycho-diagnostics, personality, cognitive/neuropsychological) and various therapies such as cognitive behaviour therapy, metacognitive therapy, mindfulness-based interventions, marital therapy amongst others. Her areas of expertise includes mood disorders and anxiety disorders, OCD, schizophrenia, substance use disorders and psychiatric rehabilitation.
