Nasal congestion is also known as stuffy nose and is often a symptom of sinus infection. It usually occurs due to blockage of the nasal passages. You may feel that your nose is stuffed with something that can cause a number of other minor issues, causing a hindrance in performing your activities of daily living. You may experience trouble in sleeping, mild headache, coughing, constantly feeling the need to clear your throat, problems with your sense of smell, difficulty breathing through your nose and bothersome snoring. A stuffy nose may or may not be accompanied by a runny nose or nasal discharge. Nasal congestion is just another annoyance for adults or older children, but can be quite severe for infants if it is interfering with breastfeeding or children may also have sleep problems due to insufficient oxygen levels.
Nausea is a sensation of unease and discomfort in the upper stomach. It is accompanied by an involuntary urge to vomit.
